iPhone 7 Review | After A Month

With the iPhone 8 coming a massive upgrade, should you get the iPhone 7? Let’s talk specs first, the screen resolution hasn’t been updated since the iPhone 4 with the same 1334-by-750-pixel resolution at 326 ppi but has a wider color gamut with 1400:1 contrast ratio and a brighter display than the old iPhones.

The iPhone 7 comes with a 12 mega pixel rear camera with an f/1.

8 aperture, optical image stabilization and a quad truetone led flash.

As to the front camera ,it finally takes 1080p videos and is 7 mega pixels but unlike the S7 and the pixel lineup it is still lacking a wide angle lens I mean come on, it’s 2016.

Everything is powered by A10 fusion chip with 2 GB of ram.

The specs are good but not really at the top of the game performance is way beyond expectations Geekbench scores literally blew the S7 away with a whooping 5300 for the Multi-core score and about 3300 for the single-core score.

Now I’ve used the iPhone 7 as my daily driver for over a month now and I have not experienced any stutter But the home button just isn’t as snappy as the physical button In the photos department, apple did a great job improving the camera it was a massive upgrade from the 6s, photos are just a lot sharper low light photos are good but not great when compared to the S7 As to battery life, it is not as good as expected, throughout testing the device I had to charge it at least once a day with moderate use What really shines is the new speakers they’re so much louder than before , the bass is managed by the earpiece and the loudness is managed by the bottom speakers together they make a perfect match.

At last, the water resistance is a great bonus to the iPhone.

All in all, if you are still struggling with the iPhone 5 or Galaxy S5 this is a perfect upgrade it is even a better value than the iPhone SE.

But if you are still using the 6S, 6 or even the 5s you are better off waiting for the iPhone 8 Because you’ll get a lot more features and more value out of it.

After all, the iPhone 7 is more like a GoPro session in the GoPro lineup than a top notch device.
